I believe its a factory cam issue, and once you change it you wont have that problem again....correct me if Im wrong. Unless you have an oiling problem or incorrect valve spring pressure on that lobe.

I am new here and I love this site, I was just wondering if it was going to happen again. I noticed a few people have had the same problems. The quad is old and My father in law have spent hours and dollars, thanks for the reply

I am also new here. My brother in law is a technician at our local polaris dealer and told me my 01 400 has that as a common problem too, however the previous owner has replaced the cam, timing gears and chain..

my 450

have you seen the post for my 450, have you heard of such a thing? I live in Windsor new york and In a mile radius there are 30 brand new polaris machines and no one has this kind of problem. Everytime I think it is fixed, it comes back to haunt me.
