hey everyone , I have a 1997 magnum 425 6x6 , the belt just blew , and I realized now that I put a new one on that the secondary clutch I way too far out ,, do I just remove the clutch and the washers or whatever behind it , or is there a measurement it needs to be at ?? any advice is appreciated , thank you all in advance

this didn't help me ,, there was a bearing there and no washers so there was nothing to take away to make the secondary clutch get closer to the engine

the guy I bought it off of rebuilt the transmission and I guess he lost the (1)bushings(#7556401) and replaced it with a wheel bearing to space it from the inner clutch cover ,, I grabbed the old tranny and there was no bushings , so I doubled up the (2) clutch spacer (#5010379) and its spaced away and aligned way better , no belt squeaking or nothing , is this still safe to do ? and the (7)bolt(#7515327) on the secondary clutch doesn't has a (10) lock washer(#7552901) so it keeps coming loose , im guessing any lock washer the same size will do , im gonna look through the famous nuts& bolts& washer bucket and find one
