I need some ideas from you all.... I have a 1998 425 Magnum 4x4 that is making a clicking noise from the front end when riding. I have checked everything that I have knowledge of.....

I replaced the wheel bearings on one wheel thinking that was the noise, it helped but there is still a clicking sound. I even jacked the wheels off the ground and ran it in the shop, trying to get a better idea of what was going on. The weird thing is that it wouldn't make the noise with the tires off the ground. I am baffled...u joints and cv joints seem solid (no slack when manually pulling on the shaft)......please help? Could it be a ball joint?

front yokes in good shape(not too much slop on the shaft??)
front rotors pretty true?? will cause the brake pads to jump around and make that type of noise
chain and sprockets in good shape,no bent links or missing teeth
