I was wondering if the 1999 and 2003 scrambler share any of the same parts. I bought a project 2003 for the winter and have a chance to pickup a 1999 parts bike. Im fairly new to atvs, bought a sportsman 500 this summer and wanted a second bike so wifey can come too. Awesome site by the way.

If you go on purepolaris.com and go to the parts catalog you can look up the part you need and click on "usage" to the right of the part number and it will tell you what other years and models it will fit.

Thanks Mickeydoozer. The 99 looks the same as the 2003 in the pics i got. Only major difference i could see was muffler looked to be on the left side on 99 and right on 2003. Im not really looking for any part in paticular at this time i was just wondering if a 99 made a good parts bike for 2003.
