4 if you are just working and play riding, 2 if you want speed and danger. 2 strokes are much cheaper to work on and easy too. 4 strokes cost more to fix but last much longer if you take care of them. I have 2 and 4 and love each one for dif reasons. i would never want a 2 stroke to use for work.
