iv had less issues with u-joints than with cv joints. by that i mean the boots on the cv joints tear. and the u joints all i had to do is grease. on my 2000 sportsman i ended up replacing in 7000miles 1) front cv boot, and countless rear cv boots. iv never had an issue with the cv itself just the boots.
thanks for the info chuckraduez. i figured as much. it was more for the 3" lift i'm going to install thought the u-joint might bind before a cv would. i know i left that bit of info out. but thanks again for the info.
