2000 Polaris Xpedition 425 starting issues?

We have a Polaris Xpedition 425 and bought another one but it won't start. It rolls over and it's backfired but doesn't want to start. It has a brand new carb, new fuel pump, new starter, new starter relay, new battery, new 20 amp circuit boards. It isn't a fuel issue as its getting gas just fine. It's not battery related, carb or fuel pump, it's not the relays. We've tested this all. We are stumped. Could it be timing off? Electrical was all gone over by a mechanic before we bought it but I've gone over the wiring and it all seems fine. We've tried to jump it from the starter solenoid and it still just rolls over. The push button on the handle bar is also not working, but the red light inside is coming on. We've only been able to try and start it by jumping it from the solenoid. Any ideas are appreciated.

Timing is set by the crankshaft - if the flywheel key is not sheared and the tab that triggers the CDI is in place, then all that's left is the trigger coil, stator, CDI box, coil, spark plug cap and spark plug

If it backfires out the exhaust, its a late spark caused by something in the ignition - if it backfires out the carb, it's probably the cheap Chinese carb that's causing the problem

Howdy, ya mite try a new headlight switch/back up override on the left handlebar. If you can, check the lash on the valves and make sure it's within tolerances. Then if it still wants to be an issue, check with a dealer or service tech you trust/for the most part do, take it in for service....they are trained and can sometimes "fix" the issue while you wait or are standing by. Sounds like most of the mechanics have been replaced, be sure to let them know...but check out videos on y.t. by Titaniummangarage...he has a bunch of knowledge and shortcuts to help folks out. Hope ya get 'er going...good luck.

At first glance, the Polaris Xpedition looks a lot like the General, a vehicle Polaris has seen much success with over the years. But the Polaris Xpedition is all-new and shares almost no components with the beloved General. In development for nearly five years, the fresh chassis needed to be extraordinarily stiff to support the fully enclosed cab, plus be capable of carrying a lot more equipment than your typical UTV. Upgrade your Polaris Xpedition Accessories UTV with Kemimoto's recommended adventure-ready accessories like Bluetooth speakers, light strips, and mirrors, ensuring your side-by-side is fully equipped for your ever-evolving escapades.
