Ok so I have spent the last couple days tearing this thing apart testing wires without a service manual (not for lack of looking) figuring out what wires run to where and what they do. I have found that when I unhook the wires that run from the key and kill switch to the black wire that runs to the CDI box I get spark and it'll run fine other than being able to shut it off naturally.
A little background on the situation...
I had the quad out last weekend and took it through the creek it didn't look deep at all so I figured why not. Well naturally as I was going I saw a good sized rock right in front of me so I swerved and just nicked it with the front right tire. Needless to say the quad ended up sideways and died...

so the deal is when both the key and kill switch are hooked up to the cdi box wire It's constantly completing the circuit ending in no spark...
I did just have it running for about 20 min with both the key and kill switch hooked up and now it's malfunctioning again I just don't understand how you can have both those wires hooked up and not have it completing the circuit...
Any ideas would be great!
Ok I'm done writing now... LOL
