I have a 2001 Sportsman 500 that I submerged over the weekend. It died while I was in the water, but was able to get it started very quick. I got across the creek but now it seems like it will not pull. Starts and rund fine but will barely move when in gear and giving it gas. any help would be appreciated. I don't know if I need to change the transmission fluid or where I should start.

Sounds like water in the belt housing. If the water was not over the gas tank, then just drain the water out.

If water got in the belt housing, then you might want to put a new seal on it or use some type of waterproof sealant around the one that is on it.
