I have a 2001 sportsman 400 4 stroke that i dont ride much at all. The last time i used it was in january and when i used it that day it ran perfect. Well its been in storage ever since and yesterday i took it riding and my overheating light came on. The reservoir was full of coolant tho and i could hear the electric fan working also. Anyone have any ideas on what i should check for? Thanks for any replies.... Shane

Have you had it long enough to have ridden it before the weather was cold? Mine had a air pocket in the motor and wouldn't circulate coolant. Came out of nowhere and went away after a couple times of draining and replacing fluid. If you haven't ridden it before in hot weather, check your carburetor jetting.
