I just bought a 2002 Trailblazer and like it as far as simpleness to ride. Main issue is
1st. the choke does nothing to it when running. I checked the cable and it is in tact and working. Is there some sort of way to adjust it. I see some people say 1/8" play? what does that mean? Currently is 22 degrees here and as long as I take the air filter off and cap my hand over the intake it fires right up. Let it idle for a minute and its good to go. cranks fine when warm. I looked at the cable assuming it was broke, but its good. it is affixed to a plunger type device. not used to one that doesn't have the "door" that covers the intake. any ideas?

2nd. no rear brakes on the pedal. they work fine with the handle. New pads installed yesterday, full of fluid and bled out with vacuum bleeder, still nothing.
