I have an opportunity to buy a 02 Sportsman 500ho with only 200 miles. Its yellow and has a winch, front and rear baskets. The winch is in a aftermarket bumper. It looks like it just came out of the showroom. They are asking $3500. Trying to see if this too high. I already have a 96 SP 400 which is in the shop needing the upper rebuilt. Trying to decide whether to fix old one or get a different one then fix old one later. I use it to pull a Swisher and blade snow.

I would try to get them down to 3200$ but that is a pretty good deal cause it barely has any miles.
For a '99 thats real steep, sometimes low miles isnt good either as the carb is prob dirty, 99 worth $2500 top's

Same weekend also picked up a 2006 Kodiak 450 for $800 with 5500 miles, actually the Kodiak needs less because parts are alot cheaper.

I also agree with everybody here, $3500 is a little pricy for a 2002 regardless of miles. New 500 HOs are selling for under $5000 up here. Area makes a big difference in pricing, but I still think anything over $2800 is high...just my .02.
