I have a 2002 Sportsman 700 Twin, which I bought used about a year ago. I replaced the Radiator and hoses, put on a new Fan, and had a Polaris Dealer go through the bike and service it, prior to ever taking it out. From day 1 ...this bike has run REALLY hot.. It actually gets so hot, that it makes my leg red after about 10 miinutes of riding. I am not however, getting overtemp alarms.

I am also going through a lot of fuel. I can fill up the tank, ride for an hour and a half (running probably an average of 25 miles an hour), and I will be almost empty. I have been told, that as hot as my engine gets, that it could be causing my gas to outflow through a relief tube. Does this sound right?

I guess my main question, is whether these are common issues that I am just going to have to get used to, or whether this is something that can be fixed?

Thanks for the help, and I look forward to whatever feedback I can get !

I hope you all have a great day !!

Thanks TJ
