never had or ridden CVT atv my question is when in low or high when you take off slow the atv seems to lope until you throttle more not sure if this is common trying to see if everything is working correctly. it has 65 hours and 450 miles, also when you switch from reverse to low or high it will clunk at first like it is going in gear is this normal. Is there a way to tell if belt is slipping and clutches are ok

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by lope, but they will clunk sometimes when you put them in gear.

The transmission clunk is normal and the slow take off sounds like a worn drive belt. You can eliminate most of the transmission clunk with one of are clutch kits. The clutch kit comes with a rubber dampened secondary clutch that eliminates most of the tranny clunk and the vibrations from tranny output shaft.
