Folks, I have a 2003 Sportsman 600 that is in great shape. 1800 miles. Love it. I bought a cabin in NW wisconsin this summer, and I want to put a plow on it. Doesn't have a winch, so I'll need one of those, mount, push tube, and actual plow. I brought it to a dealer on Saturday, and they made it seem like a HUGE problem finding the parts for a sled that "old". They said they would see if they can find the parts that work, and call me. Needless to say I am less than thrilled with that answer. I am wondering if anyone out there can make a recommendation on setups they have? Winch, plow, etc...If anything, I would like to buy the setup, and have the parts shipped to the dealer for install.
Any feedback here is very much appreciated!!

KFI winch, very good unit. Get the kit that includes the correct mounting bracket. Instructions are easy to follow. Contact Thor at the ATV SS for and check out the Viper 60" snowplow. Lastly, have both shipped to you and install them yourself. Good learning experience, not difficult to do, and probably save yourself a good bit of cash.

Eagle plows are very good, that frame/body style is the same from 1996-2004, one of the best mounts was the 2001ish polaris factory plow that hooked up to the rear ball, you dont really neeed a winch most plows come with a lever that raises and lowers it, also harbor freight sell's a decent winch 2000lb for $50, installed several and never had a issue.

Just mounted a Denali 60" snow plow on my 2008 500 X2 - well, the mount and push tubes, the blade won't be here till Tuesday. Was very simple, the instructions were not stellar and the hardware was not 100% there but only missing a couple of correct nuts. It is well constructed and should do a good job. Overall very pleased. I already had the winch on it.
