Hello,

I looked around a bit but found nothing....so here goes.

Was all set to plow some of that wonderful white stuff that was dumped here in Michigan yesterday, brand new plow, ready to rock.

The old 700 in low gear, in AWD mode is awesome....except....when I shifted into reverse...it wouldn't stay engaged in 4x4 AWD mode. Not sure where to start on this one....but am looking for some self help, troubleshooting directions.

* All fluids are clear and full
* AWD works flawlessly in all forward gears
* AWD light comes right back on when going from REV to FWD H or L gear.

That's part of the factory reverse safety. If you press the yellow button while in reverse it will stay in awd. Only way to change it is a reverse override mod.

Does anyone have the pinout for the wires coming from the left handle bar switch ?

I want to test the REVERSE override button for proper function.

FIXED !

It was the switch assembly.
I took a risk (kill it or cure it) and took apart the switch assembly. I cleaned all of the internal contacts with very fine emery cloth, and cleaned all of the wiring terminals going into the housing, started working again !

Saved $80 at the dealer for a new one.
