HI. I am hoping someone could give me an idea where to start with this.
I have a 2006 sportsman 500 ho fuel injected. Thought the battery was dead but turned out to be the starter. This is where my problem started.
I tapped on the starter while turning it over, it started to crank very slowly, and then the complete electrical system went dead. Nothing has power everything is completely dead.
Is there an in line fuse somewhere? Or is it possible I fried the computer or the power distribution module?
I was debating converting it over to a carb and remove the fuel injection. I'm not willing to just throw expensive parts at it like my dealer wants.
