According to the 2009 service manual:

41= Air Temp Sensor: Open or Short Circuit to Sensor Voltage (ECU)
Air Temp Sensor: Short Circuit to Ground
25= Transmission Input - Invalid Gear

26= Vehicle Speed Sensor - Implausible

I use this manual for my bike and its been spot on so far. (2008 Sportsman Touring EFI)

Hope that helps.

I just got my "new" 2008 Polaris Sportsman 800 Touring out for the first time this week and discovered it doesn't have a fuel gauge. In checking the owners' manual though, it should, so I guess I'm going to have to take it in for service.... even though my neighbor told me he'd had it fully serviced just before our trade.

I also noticed my owners' manual does not cover 3 settings on the AWD switch, but mine has a third. A youtube video filled me in on the 4X4 ADC setting not shown in my manual. Strange. But good, now that I know what it's for.

But here is my remaining question, on my "dash" to the left of the speedo/info center are two toggle switches. They are not in my manual either. I have no idea what they do. Anyone know?
