2009 xp 850 wheels & tires

I just got 27x11x14 xtr;s and woundering if they are gonna work on stock wheels without rubbing on sway bar?If they do hit whats the best wheel to go with (offset) or any other fix without bending.Thank you Sorry its a 2009

They should fit, but if you do need an offset wheel, 4+3 is the most common. I run a 4+3 on my 800 with a 12" wide tire.

XP's with 4+3 wheels are too wide for many trails as the trail limit is 50", 14x7 4+3's put the machine just under 54" in the rear.

If this is a Standard 850 and not a touring it shouldn't rub at all.

The 2009 was a different design. Larger tires will rub by the rear sway bar with this gentleman is asking about. This design was changed in 2010. This is why we came up with the bend to be able to put larger tires on the rear of the 2009 550/850.

The 2009 was a different design. Larger tires will rub by the rear sway bar with this gentleman is asking about. This design was changed in 2010. This is why we came up with the bend to be able to put larger tires on the rear of the 2009 550/850.

Yea, one of my buddy's has an 09 and he had to bend in the ends on the sway bar to get his larger tires on.

An even better fix is to just take the sway bar off. Makes for an exceptional riding XP.

Ah, I apologize. didn't realize there was a difference for the first year XP's. Glad they corrected it!
