Haven't been able to find this on any posts so here's my problem.

After riding my 800 for 20 miles(ododmeter reading) it starts to stutter.
Jiggling the throttle helps but after 10-20 sec it clears up. Then does it again and again just randomly.
Acts like an air leak in the fuel line. Like it's sucking in air.
No leaks anywhere by the way.

Thought it was a low fuel qty issue (that's what it acts like, anyway)
Tank is full minus 20 miles worth.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanx

Ur statement sounds as if ur problem is fuel related. So going with that, some value lines have had vapor lock issues. The heat from the exhaust manifold boils the fuel in the tank which is directly above it. Solution is a better insulator on the tank. The tank is foil tapped from the factory but that can degenerate and or come apart. I had done some work to my ride last winter and happened to have the tank out so I removed the factory foil, used it as a template for some corrugated aluminum/insulation mating that I bought from summit racing.
