Hello guys , I have been trying for a week through my dealer to get a new Idle mixture screw , when trying to remove mine I destroyed the brass screw , they do not show it in their carb breakdown, and have been in contact with Polaris .
I can not believe that this is not a common replacement part.(brass in all).

can any one shed some light on this , part # or any ideas of where else to get one ??

thanks

Sorry bad service and phone double posted. Looks like they stopped including that screw in the parts breakdown soon after the HO models started. They all run the same 42mm carb however, so any kit from an 01 and up that has the screw in the pic/description should work fine. The jets will be different however because Polaris leaned up the mixture probably to meet new regulations. Kit that should work:

Or you could try this part number, the actual screw 3130934 and look here for the numbers of the spring and o-ring that go on the pilot screw http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Polaris/ATV/2002/A02CH50+SPORTSMAN+500+ALL+OPTIONS/CARBURETOR/parts.html
Savings will be little to none when ordering online so might as well just get from the dealer for these few parts.
