Hello all - I have just purchased a 2nd hand 2011 Sportsman 550 and after a bit of care and attention ( the original owner appeared to be a bit rough with the bike) I had to replace the bellcrank the first day, but anyway I have it now running very nicely and the gears change very smoothly - until my dog got stuck into it last night.
Apart from the CB radio, with I can replace, he also attacked the handle bar controls , fortunately some of the cables have steel sheaths but one cable he has bitten through (as you can see in the photo). and I have no idea what the cable does, but it is a 5mm multi strand electrical cable.. I am going to try and solder a replacement section tomorrow but would really like to know what the cable does.

p.s. funny aside, I called the dog a mongrel, but wife had to remind me that he was a pure bred, and so forgiven
