i have a 2011 sportsman 800 efi. i've had it for a couple of months now. i went riding this weekend and didnt realize how deep a stream was until it was too late and the water was almost up to the seat in the back. but the front was still up out of the water a lil. it turned off, after i got it out the machine was slipping for about the first 5-10mins afterwards but then seemed to work fine. until later i got stuck in some mud becuase it wouldnt go into AWD. went back and forth a lil until the AWD engaged and got myself out of the mud. after i got back and went to move the quad i noticed that when i start to give it a little gas, it starts hopping and theres a knocking noise that seems like its coming from the front of the machine down by the axles. after i go more then like 1MPH it stops. but now everytime i try to move the quad, and just hit the throttle lightly it still starts jumping and i hear the clicking noise until i go faster. Any advise or should i just bring it back to the dealer?
thanks!!

I have the same machine. It is on the left side under the rear fender. It is a red plug that you can turn out with a flat blade screwdriver.

Hope this helps!

Sounds like you got some water in the belt housing and possible in your differentials. First drain your belt box and make sure there is no water in it. You should also drain and change your diff fluids and check your other fluids.
