Has anyone heard of/experienced this:
My 2012 Sportsman 400 will run fine, then suddenly start sputtering at speed. If I keep on the throttle, it will usually start missing, backfiring, and operating at what feels like half power. If I let off the throttle, it rolls to a stop and shuts off. I can usually then start it up with no issue and carry on, although the problem reoccurs every kilometer or so, regardless of how I drive it.
The first time it happened, I had approx 20 hours on it and has just got it back from its first oil change. I immediately brought it in for servicing, and was told that it was the TPS, which they believed they sprayed with water while pressure washing. It has been happening on and off ever since.
If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
