Engine idles to 1850 + RPM when warm-Checked IAC pins with Ohm meter -checked out OK
When either hose going to IAC is plugged idle drops to 1240 RPM
Can blow through IAC -not closed.. Should I just go ahead and replace the IAC control valve or are there more checks I should be doing 1st

It's worth while to make sure the throttle cable isn't bound up and adjusted properly.

I got my issue sorted. It was the idle stop screw set too high. When the IAC would change settings. That+the manifold being SLIGHTLY open caused the RPMs to increase.

Did you get this issue sorted out? I'm having a similar issue on mine. I have the same machine.
I am thinking it was just the throttle cable.. I replaced it.. haven’t really tried it out yet .. seemed better.. not sure totally fixed though..
