Hello i have a 2013 polaris scrambler xp. I live in nova scotia canada and last night i took it for a good little rip and not 15 minutes in a red light was on. We where going through 1 inch to 2 feet of snow in spots. The machine would start but would stay in limp mode. What is the problem that is causing this.

I have heard this could be caused by overheating
polaris belts dont do well in the ice and snow

thanks joshua

Polaris work fine in the snow. After all they made all their money making snowmobiles. ;)
I think you may have got water in an electrical connection or as Russ C said the rad was clogged and it was telling you it was hot.
