Does anyone know of anywhere to get a snorkel kit for a 570? Every place I have called (trianlgle, extreme snorkels, ect) have told me they have never heard of a sportsman 570. If not does anyone have any videos of how to snorkel a 570?

Thanks, Ive worked hard on it but I am very satisfied with the results as well!
thats a nice lookin toy! did you lose all/any use of your front storage with the snorkel kit?
thats a nice snorkel set up...one of the nicest i seen....not in your face off to the sides...clean looking..and the whole machine looks good..but I like your buck also...congrats...

funny story ..I met a guy riding one time and we got to talking...i was commenting on his snorkel set up and the soffit vents he installed on the tubes....he said ya the story to them is my bike sat a few weeks at the camp..and wasps took home in them..when i went to start it they swarmed me and stung my ass...so now I have them screened in...lolll

I can see that happening....
No, The storage box is still accessable due to everything from the bottom side of the rack all the way back to the intake and exhaust is all flex hose so when you raise and lower the rack it all flexes accordingly. I will try to get some pictures up for you. Also that is a great thought about screening them off somehow to keep the critters out. I would hate to be attacked over such a small detail being over looked!
Triangle ATV snorkel

I just received my kit from Triangle ATV in Beaumont and I am honestly impressed. The DVD instructions are easy to follow and the step by step is done on a 570 and not a "similar" machine. The finished set up looks nice and frankly I can't wait to get it on my bike. There are things that they addressed that I would have missed had I did it myself and would have regretted after realizing my stuff don't work 'cuz I didn't do X, Y OR Z. Sure I could have picked up "some" similar but certainly not equal materials for a little over $100 at Home Depot, but the air box and belt housing are just two of the more than half dozen things that need to be done. The front and rear diffs, fuel vent, radiator overflow bottle vent, crank vent, steps to properly sealing the clutch cover, hell even the weep hole on the back of the speedometer housing was taken into account. So ok with tax and shipping it ran a little over $300, but that is nothing compared to an engine rebuild because I didn't keep water out of the fuel tank or crankcase. This will be my first snorkeled bike and I can honestly say it made no sense to guess if I was doing it right. Sure, something could still go wrong but by buying the kit I have taken steps to reduce the possibilities down to a point where "operator error" is more likely to be the cause of any mechanical failure!!!!!

Re: snorkel kits

It seems that by me posting about a DIY snorkel I have irritated a couple of places that now sell snorkel kits for the 570 sportsman. At the time I made the post there was only 1 available on the market. I personally contacted several places including all companies I have read about on this Polaris Forum and not one had a kit for this particular ATV.
I am in no way saying anything negative about any company or companies that now sell this particular kit. This is a forum for Polaris owners and riders and was merely replying to other members about what I had done to snorkel my ATV. If you are one of the offended please refrain from the negative personal emails. Pull up your big girl panties and get over it !

Thanks for your posting,.. once my wife's 570 is out of warranty next May I am going to snorkel it,.. Hopefully this post is still up, if not you will be getting a pm from me.

Some people need to suck it up, it's not like there is a patent on anything like this.

Exactly, I cant speak for all but you hit the nail on the head!!!!! My caveat was my inexperience, not your helpfulness. For ME, the logical choice was a full kit with detailed instructions. However going forward I might choose a DYI on future builds, or not. This forum is a wonderful place to share ideas and experiences that has proven to be an invaluable resource I have used again and again. Soooooo, thank you for your valued contribution.

Does that not defeat the purpose of the front storage rack
It does, but I never used the front rack to carry anything previously. For those whose bike must fill multiple roles, they would unlikely choose to go this direction. My bike was purchased to ride the muddy, waterlogged trails of South East Texas. The storage box on my back rack is watertight and has much more space for the things I may need on the trail. So loosing the space beneath the front rack was negligible. Its a tradeoff I can easily live with. I didn't put the risers in front of the pod mounted high beam so I could modify the wiring to go with a three light setup should I need more illumination during night rides. I have encountered 3 light modified Polaris's on trail and thought the setup was more than adequate to suit my needs.

Stronger deck lid and Snorkel Stacks

I didn't like the Stacks being mounted through my Plastic lid so this is what I came up with. It's Aluminum Tread plate, now there is no Snorkel "shake" and I don't have to replace lid if it were to break (have you priced one).

Now that is one nice lookin' lid set up. BTW, I did price one and yes it's obnoxious how much they run.
Can you give me a rough estimate on how much it cost you to snorkel it yourself?

Just the cost of the kit, $300.00 delivered.
Stay tuned ! I'm adding an inline Blower to the Belt housing snorkel to keep the belt cooler, the snorkeling slightly restricts the airflow compared to the factory stuff. I noticed it gets warm when riding hard and can cause the belt to wear quicker. So I'm experimenting ! They make them for the Razors but not for the Sportsmans and are quite expensive. I found the same blower for a different application in 3" and it was only $20! So I will give it a try for that price !
