Does anyone know of anywhere to get a snorkel kit for a 570? Every place I have called (trianlgle, extreme snorkels, ect) have told me they have never heard of a sportsman 570. If not does anyone have any videos of how to snorkel a 570?

snorkle my atv has a kit i think it is 220
Can anyone show some pics of a snorkel kit on the 570, that still allows access to the front storage compartment. Pics showing the lid closed and opened pls? I understand there will be some lost space, but I would still like to have access to the space that is there. Its a mod I am considering sometime over the next year-ish
It looks like the box is not going to open with the snorkels but they actually open almost all of the way. The part you see mounted to the lid (risers) are just to support the hoses that run up into them. The hose will slide up and down in the risers. Or if you don't want to lose any space or use of the box there is an alternative in the pic below. Snorkels will exit through the fender.

Tks for the info. I don't think I would like the pipes coming out of the fender. I'm 6'3 and long legs, so I would fear an issue may arise when doing technical riding, like me always bumping into them causing personal frustration.:ponder:

With the pipes on the lid, if I understand that there are flexi lines inside the storage area connected to the visible pipes on top? Thus allowing some use of the storage area
this is what mine looks like thru the compartment. yes I lost the space but added the trunk and got twice what I needed.

I have looked at the same kit on ebay.
I like the fact you can unscrew the snorkels from the front mount when you are in to woods hitting branches, and replace them for water crossings.

I was told by my dealer that adding a snorkel kit would void the warranty, although I don't see how.
The only thing I can think of is the book recommending that you don't traverse water deeper than the footrests.
but why? polaris is a sponser for mud events.:werd:
did any one have trouble getting the right pannel back on

This has got me thinking of engineering a homemade heater mod.
No panel problem.

..........Everything tucked up tight with no problems or interference with the side cover.

I'm having an issue finding a soft flex line that is 1.5" ID and PVC that is 1.5" OD (so they slip on) The only 1.5" schedule 40 I can find is 1.9" OD. Did you just stretch it to fit it?
Hose and fittings.

The blue hose in my pics is pool or spa hose. They go to 2" to 1.5" adapters, that go into the 2 couplings for the belt housing snorkels.

I literally can not find that 1.5" 90 you have on the end of the blue hose or the 2" 90s similar to yours and in order to get the blue flex hose to attach to any pvc I need barbed connectors.

Maybe I'm just Canadian eh and we do things a little different.
I mean, those fittings are not typical plumbing or electrical fittings. They never have a 90 degree as sharp as that. Also, the hose you have, is attached by barbed fittings, I can see it now that there are definitely extra fittings in there. I'm sorry, but I don't believe your description of what items are needed are necessarily descriptive enough. Typical plumbing/electrical fittings don't look like what you have. F'ing hippies. Ooops.
What size pipe is being used to go into the conduit hub?

There are no barbs on the fittings. All fittings are regular pvc plumbing fittings. Everything you see in the picture was bought at one local plumbing/electrical supply warehouse. Buy American !
If you are talking about the risers (black pieces) the bottom is the aluminum hubs then a threaded pvc adapter, followed by 2 1/2" x 18" long pc of pvc pipe ending with 2 1/2 elbow and a stub of the 2 1/2 pipe cut off at an angle for looks.

I was referring to the bottom/underside of the conduit hubs.

Nothing connects to them. They bolt to the lid and the blue hose slides up into them.
oh ok. no issues with submerging the front box and sucking water?
Let the hoses go to the top of your risers. If you get water in them that high up you got more problems than that !
