snorkle my atv has a kit i think it is 220
Tks for the info. I don't think I would like the pipes coming out of the fender. I'm 6'3 and long legs, so I would fear an issue may arise when doing technical riding, like me always bumping into them causing personal frustration. The hose will slide up and down in the risers.
Snorkels will exit through the fender.
but why? polaris is a sponser for mud events.:werd:I have looked at the same kit on ebay.
I like the fact you can unscrew the snorkels from the front mount when you are in to woods hitting branches, and replace them for water crossings.
I was told by my dealer that adding a snorkel kit would void the warranty, although I don't see how.
The only thing I can think of is the book recommending that you don't traverse water deeper than the footrests.
This has got me thinking of engineering a homemade heater mod.It looks like the box is not going to open with the snorkels but they actually open almost all of the way. The part you see mounted to the lid (risers) are just to support the hoses that run up into them. The hose will slide up and down in the risers. Or if you don't want to lose any space or use of the box there is an alternative in the pic below. Snorkels will exit through the fender.
There are no barbs on the fittings. All fittings are regular pvc plumbing fittings. Everything you see in the picture was bought at one local plumbing/electrical supply warehouse. Buy American !I mean, those fittings are not typical plumbing or electrical fittings. They never have a 90 degree as sharp as that. Also, the hose you have, is attached by barbed fittings, I can see it now that there are definitely extra fittings in there. I'm sorry, but I don't believe your description of what items are needed are necessarily descriptive enough. Typical plumbing/electrical fittings don't look like what you have. F'ing hippies. Ooops.
If you are talking about the risers (black pieces) the bottom is the aluminum hubs then a threaded pvc adapter, followed by 2 1/2" x 18" long pc of pvc pipe ending with 2 1/2 elbow and a stub of the 2 1/2 pipe cut off at an angle for looks.
