Hello everyone. I have a 2015 scrambler 1000 I just picked up and the belt (or something) is making the belt slip. Anyways I noticed it only slipped when I use full throttle. It makes this weird clunk sound almost as if the belt goes around but doesn’t catch and then catches again and slams the gears together from the secondary clutch back. Anyways I replaced the belt and still have the same problem but it did get slightly better. I can ride all day long and it gets up and goes but when in full throttle it still slips and makes the loud clanking noise. Any help would be appreciated. I was able to hit rev limiter with tires off just fine but with tires on and me on there it slips. I weigh 230

Sounds like both your clutches need to be serviced. When you put the new belt on did you use a green scratchy pad in a vertical motion to clean up the sheaves on both clutches?
