2016 Polaris runs ruff backfires loses throttle while riding

I was plowing snow and after an hour of plowing snow it’s started with no throttle running ruff and then stalled out… got it back into the garage and noticed it was low volts… so first things first I changed the battery, no change…. Replaced spark plug, no change,, checked fuel it was dark yellow…. I thought bad gas right drained as much as could and replaced it with startron fuel additive and fresh gas…. Runs better now…. But at idle it will run about 30 to 45 seconds the quit….. when throttling it loses throttle and when I let off the throttle it backfires and then will die… so I’m looking for some ideas… am I still dealing with a fuel issue like clogged injectors or varnished up fuel rail… hoping it’s not a fuel pump…

I don’t have the equipment to do so yet… I believe it should be 58psi correct when I check that the gauge should be onnected directly to the head of the pump correct?
It does run better now that there is fresh gas… could it be that I put and additive and sea foam in it at the same time and now it’s running to rich?
Check you pressure on the fuel rail. There is a fitting right on it. You can rent one at NAPA. Usually for free with a deposit.

Thank you I will try that!
I tested the fuel pump pressure and it’s 30 psi

Most member here use Quantum with good luck. I have replaced several OEM with quantum on my bikes. Great service and lifetime warranty. No questions asked.

Here is the update I bought a fuel pump from All Balls Racing…. Installed and put my machine back together and it runs like a top again. Thank you to Deucer, Shorty570 and FDP218.
