Hopefully someone can help me here I got a 2016 sportsman 570sp
It was a good runner we do some mud and water riding one day the EPS light came in and wouldn’t go away but the quad was running good regardless so I pulled all the plugs I could get to and clean them up and dioelctric grease them tested my batter and tested good even diolelectric grease the ecu plug the eps light went away sweet! But more issues came with that! Tmap sensor code popped out! So I replaced tmap sensor and the tmap harness plug and put a brand new fuel pump complete unit! Now my issue is quad starts and idles all day if I unplug the tmap! But if I plug it in and the check engine light goes off the quad won’t start! It cranks but won’t start no other codes given what else could I look at?

You plug it into Digital Wrench diagnostics and find out which connection or sensor you damaged or set incorrectly in your zeal to fix something which you know nothing about. Can you install a 4 way switch and make it work with two 3 way switches so you can turn a light on or off at 3 different locations or would you call an electrician?

Yeah because everyone has a Polaris digital wrench diagnostic at home I never said I took any sensors out other than the tmap sensor plugs only clean them and plug back in the only sensor that would need to be calibrated is the tps sensor which wasn’t even touched at all but thanks for the warm welcoming to the forum

So when I replaced the tmap harness and plug I did test it and I am getting 5 volts to the third pin battery still testing good what is driving me crazy is how I can get it started rev and idle with the check engine light on but as soon as check engine light comes back on the quad does and won’t start again the code I’m getting is for low voltage to tmap sensor I’ve tried 3 different sensors

Well the stick up my ass is not as big as the hole in your head - I am giving you help. You need to take to someone with the tools and knowledge to solve the problem and it's not me - I don't have the tools or training, but put a carburetor on it and try to beat me in a race. You ain't gonna do it without a team of electronic geeks as a support crew. My support group consists of me, myself and I. As much as I know about EFI, I'm not working on it and I won't have a powersports product with it. Why don't they use EFI on plane engines? Because it's unreliable and trouble prone.

Help yourself and get help.

This right here is all you needed to say. Sometimes if someone is asking about something you know nothing about it is best to just say nothing at all.

Here I can help. Just make sure that the traveler legs go to the four way.

Oh and for each additional switching location you need to add another four way.
