They are now calling the 850 & 1000 engines "Prostar"?
they always have been.

I like them both, look cool too but why reduced hp in the 1k and less travel numbers?

I'm not a mud machine fan, but I'm glad they finally have an offering to compare to the other brands.

I like the winch switch location and fitment!!!

Not that I recall. The Ace engine, 570, 900 and 1000 RZR engines are the "Pro Star" family.
Firt time I've heard the 850/1000 ATV engine refered to as PROSTAR........

The 850 and 1000s have been called pro star engines for the past few years.

I sure hope everything has been beefed up ALOT or there are going to be ALOT of warranty claims!!!

The 850 should have at least come with aluminum wheels, like come on.

axle on the front are a claimed 50 percent stronger rear are ten percent or something and a super low range for mud usage ...could still be iffy with those big tires on em ! aluminum wheels would be nice but I presume steel keeps price lower

No upgraded pinion!! I have a friend at the Polaris convention and he was sending me pictures. I think this will be the biggest issue we see with the highlifters is front diff carnage. I myself am going to give it some time before I jump on board.
