I went to the hardware store and bought two 1/8" steel L-brackets for my bin to rest against. I missed having the rear rack extender that our 2008 did.
I know for certain the front utility rack would not work with a rack extension. but then again, it acts as one so no need there. as for the rear, you might look into the rear basket type extension that work with most steel racks.
