So I just purchased a Polaris rzr turbo S 2020. I want to go out and use it at a designated area and it must have a spark arrestor. My question is does it come with it already? Do I have to purchase it and have it installed? What is it?

A spark arrestor should be on the vehicle from the factory. Check with your dealer. If you have changed your exhaust, check with the vendor.

It comes with one. You'll either need to unbolt the cap on the backside of the muffler (tail pipe) or you'll need to take a pair of pliers to pull and twist it out of the tail pipe. Essentially it's a screen that is there to catch sparks from inside the exhaust from exiting and potentially starting a fire.

The spark arrestor is number 11 in the picture. Its held in by a small screw and nut. It needs to be removed and cleaned every few hundred miles to keep it cleared of muffler packing bits that collect on the screen. I generally clean mine every oil change. It is simply a screen to prevent sparks from blowing out the exhaust and burning the world down.
