Your machine doesn’t have anything similar to what kind of clutch you are thinking of. You have a cvt. And as stated about 1.8 gazillion times it does not matter what oil you put in. 5w-40 works great. If it’s still under warranty I would SUGGEST you use Polaris oem stuff not because of the quality, but to make sure you aren’t voiding any warranty on engine failures.

 

Did Polaris STOP giving Manuals? I’m lucky, cause mine did and it listed every specific fluid to maintain mine.

 

My 2021 came with a paper manual.

All of my previous atvs did have a wet clutch honda yamaha kawasaki.... polaris ps4 oil is over 4 times more expensive than automotive oils.

Rotella isn't 5w50 (at least I have never seen it).

 

OMG.. Its soooooooooooooo hard to shut up when such stupid questions are asked. Everyone knows you use virgin olive oil on your dry CVT primary clutch and you use non-virgin on your secondary.

Hmm….my Amsoil oil change kits are $28. And their oil is API rated. With a Wix filter.

 

Yup, I buy the Amsoil kit. 2 quarts and a filter and it’s less expensive than Polaris and I know I’m getting good stuff… or at least that’s what the Amsoil rep tells me 🤪

 

Well I learned something-They now offer free shipping after $100...The last time I purchased amsoil was in 03, and shipping was expensive! Now it might make a difference if I order enough for all vehicles one time.
