HI. My new 570 has what sounds like a gear whining sound. Its not that loud. Almost like a diesel turbo sound. I can hear it basically all of the time in Low gear. In High gear I can hear it very quietly until 30 MPH then it gets louder. I am not sure if this is normal or not for the 570. It happens when slowing down, speeding up or holding a steady speed. It does not seem to be RPM related.
The machine is about a month old. 9 hours on the clock. 160 miles on it total. I followed the belt break-in instructions. I followed the 3 hour instructions. I have been following the 25 hour breaking requirements as well.
I can say that my 2020 450 HO makes a similar sound when slowing down.
Do they share the same transmission or do they have a different type of gear?
Any Ideas or suggestions?
Thank you Jim
