New to Polaris forums and just found out from Polaris Police (RZR_JOE) that I must be on the correct forum to post about my new broken Sportsman. May want to read quickly as Polaris Police might take this down!

Just picked my new Polaris 2022 450 PES Sportsman being told not to drive it until Polaris can design a fix for a problem that apparently was pushed out a long time ago. As an engineer, I find it very odd that Polaris engineers cannot fix the problem with more urgency for better customer relations.

The service manager added that the dealership has over 200 snowmobiles with stop rides also along with a host of other Polaris vehicles with stop rides. Polaris has most diffidently dropped the ball on their customers!

Does anyone know our rights on ownership continuation? I do not have any desire to continue to pay for or fund a toy that I cannot enjoy for very much longer. Michigan, I believe has a lemon law – this is an avoidable problem that Polaris should fix now.

stop ride

Important Safety Recall Notice A-22-04
So let me get this right - If Polaris has any forums posted that "may" have a Stop Ride context, then its on "me" to research any and all posts to ensure no other member has posted anything on my topic - is this correct? Seems labor intensive and misleading on a forum type environment - just saying ...

Ya they started shipping electrical tape ..the Fix.......

Dealership Next Steps:
Polaris has authorized your dealer to wrap the stator wires conduit with tape to secure the internal wires in place at no cost to you. This repair should take approximately 30 minutes. They have been instructed to repair your vehicle.
We apologize for this inconvenience and assure you that we are committed to customer satisfaction for riders to enjoy.

Just now returning to the forum site - I was contacted today and the fix is now active and dealerships are getting them in - by 12 Dec all dealerships should receive their initial allotment. Good to see action on this - Polaris stock goes up today and even more when problem is corrected.

Hey all. It sounds like the fix is just putting some electrical tape around some wires. Hardly worth me taking 2 machines 200km to the dealer waiting 30 minutes and then 200km back home.

Anyone just fix themselves and would like to share a simple DIY video?

Every company has recalls and at least is not a Ford having recalls on my death trap Fusion with airbags with flying metal and it's been a the death dealer for over week now and still not fix with a recall on the Brakes paddle going to the floor when at the worst time and very lucky I run the red light right after a car was turning left coming aheading towards me and this is the second time it's been working on the first time it was going to the floor there was no recall and it's done it again there's a recall.
I called to check on it he said Yes the ABS is bad and will order it but you still need to fix the speed sensor and wheel bearing .
And that doesn't make sense because the wheel bearings only has about 15,000 on them.
