I am wanting to put STI Outback MAX 30x10-14 tires on my stock 2013 Sportsman 850 XP H.O EPS all around. I don't want to have to buy a lift kit because I don't want to have to buy axles. I am willing to get a lift kit if I really need to but I would rather do something alternative if possible. Can I fit these without any modification or will I need to buy or do something. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Oh nice choice. I was wanting them too but they are heavier than Silverbacks. Theoretically 30" should fit, however you will need to crank up your preloads on your shocks all the way up. Be prepared to trim the rear foot well and a large fin or tab under the front fender. They will be tight. Any large bump or dip they will rub. EPI HD Springs will help some...
As far as Axles, be prepared to buy at least Rhino's up front $200 each. I'm worried about breaking the stockers with a light 28". Way worse for a heavy 30" monster tire.
Do you have a clutch kit? Be prepared to eat a few belts if you don't have a clutch kit. The price of two belts is your clutch kit Lol. Yes there are a few things to consider running a large tire like that.

Well, as for axles, I am an 80/20 trail/mud rider. Do you think I will really need new axles? That is why I want these tires because they offer a smooth ride on hard pack, which I'm on 80 percent of the time, but they also offer mud slinging power if I need it. I plan on getting new axles eventually but I would like to get tires first. I don't have a clutch kit either. Do you think I can run these on the stock 14-8 and 14-10 wheels? I looked at epi hd springs and I can't find my model. They have 850 xp ho, 850 xp /w eps, 850 xp, and 850 xp ho LE /w eps but they don't have 2013 850 xp ho eps.

Stock rims should be fine. The problem will be when you DO get into the mud is where the strain will be on the Axles and in need of a clutch kit will be. Some on here will say you don't need a clutch kit. But keep in mind running a 2" deep lug tire that weighs 50lbs each, your going to need to get your wallet out!!
Those tires are big, heavy, extremely aggressive and a stock set up won't last long! Why get such an aggressive mud tire when you only ride 20% mud? How about a light 30" Zilla that won't kill your bike?
