I went and decided to replace my trailblazer 250 carb with my carb from my xplorer 400 with a blown engine. Anyway I used some gorilla tape and zip ties to mount the carb to engine since the opening was to small, and the air box is going to need some changes to make it work, so I just skipped the airbox and used a smaller airfilter. It started up but I could only start in gear or the it would grind trying to shift. It sounded pretty loud and actually seemed to run better than before, but the throttle would only move like 1/10 forward n then wouldn't push anymore without wiggling and pushing pressure on it. And when it finally went past that point the bike took off and wouldn't back off. Any idea on how to fix this would be greatly appreciate

Thanks
