450 sportsman or CF moto?

I’ve watched all the videos and they seem biased to stick with popo but just wondering if any of you have a CF moto for a first hand review. Kids are finally old enough and got them each a sportsman 110. Now when I get off this deployment gonna buy either two atvs for me and the wife, or a decent utv we can both ride.
Tell me what you think 🤔? Take the pole above

PM Jsnance, he has a 2 month old CFmoto 600, ‘19 Sportsman 850, and a 570 also. Last I talked to him the CFmoto was doing great and he was happy with it. -wife rides the CF, son-570, him the 850. They run them hard to, as they live in an area that has lots of mud and open areas for riding.

I wouldn't role the dice on the cfmoto. I'd stick with the Polaris 570. There is just so much in the way of information, availability of OEM and aftermarket parts that the Polaris would get my money. Not to mention out 570-T is the best wheeler we own.

As for the UTV/ATV debate that's going to be based off preference. Personally I would choose the ATV. But there are many cases the SxS would be the better or only choice but not every case!!! Also and this is unique onto your situation but for me my wife is a newer rider so we putt along. Now if I wanted to ride with a group of friends it would sometimes be better to drive a SxS with her as the passenger. So yeah many factors to consider in that debate.

What UTV are you considering???

I haven’t given it a ton of thought but I lean toward a rzr. Wife is good with riding but kids are pretty new. They’ve been on dirt bikes since ages 1 and 2 though (5yrs) so I’m not too worried about them. I should probably let the younger one race but we haven’t come to any agreements on that yet.

Wife and I used to have dirt bikes, atvs, and supercharged Seadoo’s jumping surf. We’re open to everything basically. Current just have the two 110’s and a Yamaha 242x (amazing boat). Gotta start building the fleet back up.

It’s true. We have a HUGE following for the cf motors here in NC. Been seeing more and more on the trails the last two years. Everyone I stopped and talked to about theirs loved them and had zero issues with them. Now to be fair I’ve only seen the 400s 500s and the 600s over the last two years and prob spoke to 100 or more owners over two years and none had any issues to speak of. Now don’t get me wrong. We love our 570 and my 850. The ride is better than the CF. Buy for all the extras u get it is an excellent buy and a full year warranty. We’ve put ours thru the paces and my wife pretty much goes where we do. I’d go with the 600 over the 500. Plenty of power too. Not as refined as the popos but good enough to do whatever u want. We run all out atvs hard and get in some pretty nasty mud. With the diff lock on she has only been stuck once where my son and I go. And we’re running bigger tires. The 570 popo would be a much better choice over the 450 popo. Somehow the 450s (at least in my experience) have more issues than the 570s. Not knocking the 450s my best pal has one and it’s fun and holds its own. He also has a 570 like my sons and he prefers the 570 all day. But for the price the cf 600 with eps ebs a winch nice alum wheels and paint you just can’t hold a torch to the price. 6199 plus tax tags etc. what’s a 570 with eps now? 7500 or better? The choice is really up to you what u prefer and what u wanna pay. I’d been looking at them for a while for my wife and she honestly loves it. I too have been impressed with it. I have owned a Honda rubicon and 19 can am XMR three yamahas one Kawasaki and out fro popos and the cf moto. Didn’t have any issues with any and have enjoyed them all. The 850 honestly has been my fav. Even my son who rides the 570 is impressed with the cf. but again it is down to what YOU want. What you wanna pay and what you will be doing with your wheeler. If price is your only point the cf is for you. If comfort and a little more power is your bag the 570 is for you. Given the choice NOW between the 570 and the cf moto 600. I’d choose the CF moto over the 570. The cf is a little stiffer in the ride and has three less hp. I’d recommend riding them both if possible and see what fits you. PS. spend a little more and get the EPS. ITS so worth it. Good luck with your purchase. See you out on the trails. A big hello to my buddy Mr Ed!!!!!!

I too am looking to up grade the wife from her '05 Rancher 400 to a new unit with EPS.
How much different is the ride comfort? Extremely noticeable? Marginally noticeable? Is it only noticeable on the most boney of terrain? Its hard to find two units and ride the same trail to determine. Wish I could buy both and return one haha Thanks for any insight you might have.

The polaris is a softer ride. I have put alot of miles on them both. My wife def prefers the cf moto over the polaris. The cf has a higher clutch engagement rpm than the polaris. The cf moto is just as much fun and is as capable. I personally like the loom of the cf moto over the polaris. The power is enough for me to notice but not the wife. Dont get me wrong the moto will get up and go just not quite as fast as the popo. With all the extras the cf is the better buy. If i had to do it over again id buy the cf over the polaris 570. You get all the extras and paint and premium wheels and a winch and eps and ebs for about 6500 and the cf looks better and has a much better warranty. Weve had it almost a year it has gone everywhere the 570 has and with zero issue. The guage cluster had a problem when we first got it an d cf replaced it quickly. I have probably spent close to 700 to 800 on repaira the first year on the polaris 570 and alot more than that the second year of ownership. It just seems everythime the 570 goes out aomething breaks on it Not the same story on my 850 sp. in my opinion the cf is a much better biy than the polaris. The power is negligible and the ride is a little stiffer. Id buy the cf moto again. I honestly cannot say the same for our polaris 570 eps. Good luck. Let us know what happens!!

First, Thank you for the welcome!
I understand Polaris has the smoothest ride, I am trying to quantify how much better it is.
If you tell me that it is only slightly better than the CF, and that the CF will be such a HUGE up grade in ride from the mono sock Rancher... Then I can start figuring out bang for the buck.
Again, its not like I have both machines available for side by side rides. I am trying to figure this out thorough others experience and knowledge.
Thanks for any insight you might have.

^^^I can’t disagree with any of that. That is your experience with your 570. My 2017 has been like your 850 with zero issues. I’m sure there are some CF Moto owners out there with similar issues. NO brand is immune, but which ever brand OP chooses let’s just hope he gets a cherry. Lemons aren’t brand specific!

Yeah it's a tough one cause our 570 has been rock solid!! 2018 with 1500 miles on it. In any event I have heard nightmares about the CFs and then the whole dealership and getting parts issues. Personally I wouldn't touch one, from the limited exposure I have had with them they are POS.

I am like u guys. I think some u win. Some u lose. Same with the wheelers. I know guys whove had their 570s a couple of years and minor issues. Just my experience with both wheelers together my experience has been i prefer the cf moto 600. I think the biggest issue cf has is the lack of dealerships close enough and in quanity to deal with alot of warranty issues. I guess each person who rides has a different perspective based on how where and who they ride with. My best friend has a popo 450 and a 570 (2020 models) and has had zero issues with the 570 over the last two yearsand his 450 has stayed in the shop a total of six months out of its ownership. We ride with a pretty mixed group of people most who own popos but five have cf motos (500s and 600s ). Weve been riding with em over the last uear and no issues. Whatever he does and whatever he chooses i hope it serves him well and he enjoys it. The BIGGEST thing is we get out there and ride! I would hope he knows someone who has one of each and tries them out. Thatd be best. Hit us up and let us know what u r thinking man! A big hello to my buddy Mr Ed. !
