sorry, machine is a 2019 sportsman 570
4wd not always engaging
i have to put in 2wd then 4wd then back and forth for the 4wd to engage. any ideas?

I would suggest you look for a poor connection between wiring connector and the throttle housing. You might test it by unplugging the connector and short the brown and grey wire together (bypasses the internal switch) - if AWD is solid (reliable), then repair the connector or replace the switch.
That info was what was wrong.. you've saved me a few times now. Thanks
i cleaned the wires going to the 2wd/4wd switch
