my 2002 500 sportsman will throw me through the windshield (if I had one) when letting off the throttle. I do not trail ride much and if I do it is not very hilly. I ride some roads. I am guessing the EBS system is over doing the braking. Is there an adjustment for amount of braking? Is this system able to be turned off? Ok to remove it?

Thanks in advance for any help ! Rick

If you'll let off the throttle gradually instead of just dropping it all at once it is a very gentle deceleration. You'd have to change clutches and belt to get rid of EBS.

mine is like that too. I wonder if it has a stock clutch in it, because it revs higher on takeoff that my GF's 2015 570. And mine has much stouter engine braking than hers does. Its very disconcerting to drive hers after being used to mine. I definitely use her brakes, mine, not so much.

Hers can coast down a hill with no throttle, mine will come to a complete stop. I have gotten used to it and really like it.
