Hi all, just want to confirm that this is probably a bad connection near the relay and is not the relay. I have been surfing this issue and it appears that it is not a new one.

My wife’s beast: 2008 500 HO Sportsman
Problem: turn the key to start, clicks 3 times, display shuts off. Wait 10 seconds, do it again and it may start, or you have to wait another 10 seconds and then FOR SURE, it will start on the 3rd try.

Battery is new as of last year. Yes, it was doing it last year too, thus the new battery. Once it’s out and running, it may run all day without issues. The odd time it won’t start but I cross my fingers and that 2nd or 3rd time is gold. Yep, she wants it fixed this year so before I start getting too deep into this, I want to make sure I’m on the right path.

It's either: #1 the battery or connection (especially ground connections) #2 the starter motor failing #3 the solenoid failing

My bet is on the battery or a ground connection
