Yep this is why I run 12" rims on my quad. Learned this lesson on my truck. Was running a 20" rim with 35's but there is not enough sidewall for good impact protection. Went back down to an 18" rim with 35's and has never happened again. I really do like the look of a 14" rim (or larger) but unless you are running a big lift (4"+) or have a side-by-side 12" is the way to go in my book. Just my 2 cents
570 12" whee570 wheels will NOT fit a 570SP. Thor's definitive answer.
Well, we have the final answer. You cannot put 12" 570 wheels on an SP. Tried to push the wheel on and the bolts wouldn't go through. You can see from behind that the steering arm will not clear inside the rim. So now we know for sure.
