The 500 could do wheelies also so its not all that surprising.

It definately has a nicer sounding exhaust than the 500!!
I think they are going to sell a ton of those 570s. Nice bike, great price.
I gotta admit, for those looking for a casual trail machine, hunting, run about atv, etc, these are going to be hard to beat. I saw a few more vids on youtube of them....for the price, it looks like Polaris has hit a home run with this
Its doesnt count unless your ass is on the seat. :D

Being a 2 wheeler rider, I have to agree.

I guarantee, they will outsell the 550Xp with these. So glad to see the evolution of the classic sportsman.

How do y'all think it will do as a mud machine? I have seen a ton of 500HO with 30" tires and really not struggling.

^^ About the same as a 550 with 30" mud tires. Lol

I think the 570 puts put a tad more HP than the 550. 44HP for the 570.

I kept seeing 40 & 42HP ratings for 550.

Just looking at brochures it appears the 2009 was 40HP and it was increased to 42HP in 2010.

Feet on the pegs at least.
I would be more interested to see a wheely pulled with the driver sitting on the seat. My grandson has a 125 yamaha and when dropping my weight on the back it will do wheelys all day.
I gotta ask, what is the obsession with wheelies??

I cant get the front up on my 550 for nothing. I think it has to do with the stock tires
Mine 850 would just roast the back tires with stock tires. But with the grippers i can stand it up, even without the clutch kit yet.

I tried it a couple times. But i have to agree with will, wheelies don't float my boat.

Obsession ? Not me, but wheelies are fun. Besides it's cool to be able to lift the front end over stuff. I ride an Outlaw and it helps to be able to wheelie over water puddles so I don't get my tenny runners all wet.
It saves wear and tear on the front end.....

^ LOL

I agree, Polaris should make a killing on the 570's. I give them kudo's for keeping new ATV's at a more affordable price.
I've only ever wheelied my 800 once.... just to see if it could do it (and show the wife it could do it :D). And for the record, it did it with ease!! Personally, from that point on... I don't need to beat on it like that!

What I'm really waiting to see is two "good-ol red neck boys" make a Stock Sportsman 2013 500 vs. 2014 570 video.... want to see a side by side / head to head shoot out drag race and tug of war!!!

Please post up if you've seen one!
