Hey all,
I've been looking all over the internet trying to find something to replace my hub caps. I lost 2 and I want to replace them to help reduce the dust and mud getting into the bearing assemblies but crap, the dealer wants almost $40 for EACH cap and all they are is cheap plastic coated in silver paint.

I'd be completely ok with some generic smooth or black or silver anything really as I don't care about the logos on the hub caps.

Has anyone found anything that works that I don't have to re-mortgage my house to get? ha ha.

Thanks!

Don't have a 550/850.... but go get your gears grinding and the light bulb to pop on, would something along these lines work. Either a rubber dust plug or electricians hole plug: Hole Plugs | Alltronics

Measure the diameter and head off to the local Home Depot, Lowes or what ever you have and take a look in the Electrical and Plumbing sections...... get creative, if close to size a tube of clear silicone could hold it in nicely.

Good Luck!
