850XP stock exhaust vs. Big Gun exhaust.

I have spent the last two weeks trying to decide which exhaust to go with. I'm pretty sure I read every thread on here and watched every video on youtube concerning aftermarket exhaust. My buddy just ordered and installed the big gun slip on and after hearing his I couldn't pass up the sound or the price of the big gun. I did a side by side comparison before changing mine to help people hear the difference between stock vs. the big gun. And just to let you know, thats not my friends real voice. He felt corny doing the narration so we just made a joke out of it.

what lift is on the right one?

Tell your buddy to shut it.
I had the Big Gun full exhaust on my Sportsman 500. All my friends complained when they rode behind me that it was too loud. I would have to agree. I just purchased a 2012 850 xp eps. I would like to change the exhaust but I don't want anything as loud as the Big Gun. Does anyone else make an exhaust, (slip on) that gives a good sound but is not obnoxius?

It doesn't have a lift. The one on the left actually belongs to my buddy and he just drove it into my driveway before this video so the suspension was still a little compressed. I actually noticed and lifted up on his so they would be the same height but guess it didn't end up that way. I just realized that at the end he said the stock was better. I think he was just mocking those old timers who think aftermarket is too loud.

Yeah it's definitely loud. Of course you can't tell in the video cause we shot it from a little ways back so that you could hear the deep tone and not just a loud racket in the speaker. It's a little louder than I orginally wanted but we got a good price on them so figured it would be fun to play with for a little while. You should check into the HMF Swamp Series slip on. That's the one I was going to get. The XL seems a little louder but the regular series is supposed to offer a deep sound but not too much louder than stock.
Riding area

Just to add, I usually only ride at the local ATV park which has no restrictions or private land away from residential areas. So if I annoy anyone it's the other riders who all seem to have aftermarket exhaust too.
Man I read the comments the idiots wrote on youtube, morons!!! i have the 2010 850 xp and it is a monster. i just ordered the big gun eco series exhaust and cant wait to install it. I also have 30" mudzillas a 2" lift and a power commander v. With the 30's i can still ride a wheelie in high range just by pushing the throttle. Screw the guys that think the crappy hondas(even the 650 rencon)is worthy enough to even ride in the same mud park as the polaris 850
^^ This guy didn't read how old this thread is.
Read the thread an I clicked the link.

When I saw the video, I was like.."man, ive seen this video like 6 months ago"????

Too funny!!

Yeah, its been up for a while. I set it up to be a serious comparison video then my friend (The Narrator) started talking in an annoying voice. I decided just to go with it. The funny part is that some people on YouTube thinks he's being serious when he says the stock is way better.
would the end of the exhaust on that 500 fit on a 800?
After hearing this i now want this exhaust on my 13 850xp
Anyone know if there are any nice power gains from a slip on? I went with a full system when I had my Honda 700xx and wow the power difference was incredible over stock.
