Today we received a 2011 RZR 900 engine for remanufacture/rebuild from a great group of people at a Polaris dealer in Tennessee.
This one has cracked cases, bearing journal damage, bent crank balance shaft, rod damage, ect
We will be posting pics of the process start to finish so you can see we do it right the first time.

Interesting, wonder why the flywheel key sheared....50 cent part cost the engine. Can't wait for more photos.

With the amount of visible damage why would it not be cost effective to just replace the engine with a reman with a warranty

Stave, Yep. It's the little things that seem to lead to big things.
Sporty, We re manufacture and that's what happened. The customer bought a reman engine from us. That's what we do here at Extreme Gearheads and we are very good at it.

Very impressive.

When you do rebuilds do you guys get into any performance upgrades? In particular the 800 motor.
