Good morning! New here and hope someone can help. My newly acquired 94 300 4X4 will only move in low range. It feels like it engages reverse and high fine, but will not move in either. It doesn't die or anything.... Just revs like its in neutral. Has anyone here had a similar problem? Thanks!

sounds like there may be a problem with the high/reverse shift shaft.

Thanks for the link to the diagram! Now my question is: Is there an adjustment for this, or does it need to be replaced? If it does need to be replaced, how big of a job is it?
