'Mornin' everybody. Another FNG here. I'm not sure where I should post this, maybe someone could point me in the right direction. I have a '95 300 4X4. It started making a clunk in reverse when it was under load. I thought it sounded like it was coming fron the right front hub, so I took the hub apart. No problem there. The front chain was a little loose so I tightened it up and slapped everything back together. Now I have no 4x4 in forward or reverse, so of course the clunk is gone. The light on the AWD switch is on but there's no 4x4. I never fiddled with any electrical or anything, just the hub and the chain. It's possible the clunk could have been coming fron the chain, but I won't know until the 4x4's working. I hope it's not the chain in the gear case. It didn't sound like it was coming from there. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks for the welcome Bruce. Any idea who might be able to suggest some trouble shooting tactics?
